Luxury Bedroom Suite & Cabinetry Design
Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Client: Undisclosed
A unified “Master Suite” concept, creating a unified aesthetic for the Bedroom, Ensuite and Walk-in Closet. The style is transitional yet timeless – not too classic but not too contemporary, using more modern approaches on details such as panelling, woodwork (cornices, baseboard, etc.), and lighting. Colours are on the cooler, soft greys accented by brass and dark grey/ochre/taupe colour accents. Accent furniture, lighting and art pieces then ties the design together. What sets this project apart was the detail given to the cabinetry design, ensuring a mix of functionality and luxury.

Suburban Home Open Kitchen & Living Area
Ballincollig, Co. Cork
Client: Undisclosed
The project spans the entire ground floor of this Co. Cork suburban home. The contrast between the cosy, library-style Front Room as compared to the light and fun Open Kitchen and Living Room is apparent, yet there is a timeless thread in the choice of furniture and decor that allows for a connection between all the spaces. The floor plan also shows ingenious ways of incorporating built-in cabinetry to optimise the use of all corners of the rooms. All the recommended items are available in Cork City, making it easy for the owners to execute the design.

Cottage Living Room Design
Ballylanders, Co. Limerick
Client: Undisclosed
Though small, this project packs in a lot of character, yet retains a contemporary charm and warmth. By studying the interior architecture of the room, the furniture pieces, artworks and lighting were selected to enhance the shape of the room and create more height, making the space appear visually larger. A neutral palette accentuated by blues, greens and natural wood both makes the design very easy to the eye while honouring the home's beautiful natural surroundings.

The Rose Room,
University Maternity Hospital Limerick
Univ. Maternity Hospital Limerick, Co. Limerick
Client: HSE Limerick (Completion Summer 2017)
Project Fund awarded through competition by the Irish Hospice Foundation
The goal is to have a Rose Compassion Room in University Maternity Hospital, Limerick where women or couples will be guaranteed a gentle, safe atmosphere to be cared for with compassion when being given sensitive pregancy news. Having a suitable, empathic space lessens not only the stress and trauma to the patients, but also to the healthcare professionals and caregivers, too. The Rose Room was inaugurated with the Irish Hospice Foundation (whom through a competitive process provided the funding), and has since provided a private, dignified sanctuary within (but feels miles away from) a typically sterile hospital space. It is hoped that this approach in interior design becomes a model for other hospitals in Ireland.
